Teaching to Save
Remember going to the bank with your passbook and making a small deposit? When the bank teller handed my passbook back to me, I eagerly looked to see what my new balance was. The fact that I still remember that today, shows how important teaching to save is for your kids.
The first step, and probably the most important, is what are your own attitudes about saving money? Kids learn by example and parents are at the top of the learning totem pole. You may try to teach your kids to save, but if they see you waste your money, that is what they will really learn.
